Journalist’s Technology Too Dangerous To Fly El Al

A freelance photojournalist, Matthias Bruggman, was denied boarding on an El Al flight due to his carry-ons– a Canon EOS-1D digital SLR camera and an iBook. Oddly, neither of these items are listed by El AL’s as prohibited.
El Al indicated that the items were too complex to disassemble, and as such were not permitted on board in any way.
