Today I was doing one of my favorite things, getting my oil changed at Jiffy Lube. There was a long wait due to a 30% off special. Here, in Lynnwood, WA, it appears that there is no compunction about getting on your cell phone and talking as loudly as you can muster– at least half the people waiting on their cars were jabbering on their phones.
In any case, "Cheryl" was making a ton of calls around to various apartment complexes and private landlords looking for a six month lease on a two bedroom apartment with a washer and dryer as well as a pool. She made it clear in nearly all of the calls she made that she was "positioning [herself] to purchase again in October."
Real estate agents are now getting out of their properties and not immediately buying again. Isn’t she afraid she will be priced out of the market? Telling.
